Photomask

Photomasks are used to perform photolithography to transfer the pre-designed layout onto the substrates, normally a thin slice of silicon known as a wafer in the case of chip manufacturing.

Several masks are used in turn, each one reproducing a layer of the completed design, and together they are known as a mask set.

SUNUM uses high-quality ultra-smooth 5-inch quartz plates coated with 100 nm chromium and anti-reflectance (HOYA Company). We use electron beam lithography to expose the pre-designed layout with the state-of-the-art equipment in ISO 14644 certified cleanrooms.
